Where do I work?

I am located in the Wokingham area so most of my work is located in and around Berkshire and Hampshire. However if there is somewhere special to yourselves I am happy to travel further afield. For location shooting that is out of my usual working area this may occur a small fee for mileage.

What's the process?

Check out my portfolio, decide on your package and contact either through the Contact form page or email info@eternaltalesphotography.com.

I will get in touch with you and book in a pre shoot consultation which will normally be done via Microsoft teams or phone call.

Once contracts have been signed and the session fee deposit has been paid I will send you through some information sheets which may help with your decisions of what to wear on the day.

The day is here where we have fun and capture your special moments.

A time frame will be provided for your images to be uploaded onto the viewing gallery.

What to wear?

Majority of the work I do is outside amongst nature, depending on the season you will be surrounded by different colours. Natural block colours tend to work the best, avoid distracting patterns and big logos.

However your comfort is key to capture the real you. Wear something you are going to be happy in, Able to move around freely and makes you feel good. Also be practical, if we are on outside location mid November, please bring your coats and wellies!

Remember these are natural documented images, a beautiful flowing dress on a hot summers day or your hat scarf and gloves in the midst of winter is just perfect.

If we have a session booked at your home address, again please wear something you are comfortable in but try to follow the basic guide:

Outdoor:

Greens, browns, earthy tones, navy blue, and neutrals all work well with the outdoor atmosphere.

Try to avoid crazy patterns, Large logos, big writing and neon colours.

Textured clothing can work great, such has knitted hats and scarves.

Remember a spare pair of clothes for the muddy days, although mud covered kids make great pictures!

Indoor:

Soft natural colours again work very well, there is a little bit more flexibility for indoor location sessions such as dresses in the winter! However the general advice for avoided crazy patterns, large logos, big writings and neon colours is still the same.

Whites and cream colour work particularly well with natural light indoor locations.

I will start with something I never go anywhere without it…..SNACKS!

If you have a toddler you know as well as I do that a snack meltdown can be brutal! I encourage everyone to be relaxed and happy, so if that means we have to stop for 5 minutes for a small break thats no problem.

If you have very young children, the location may or may not be suitable for buggies, this will be discussed in the pre shoot consultation.

Bring drinks If needed, spare clothes for little ones and some wipes!

The weather is just as predictable as toddlers! I am happy to work in all sorts of weather however if considerably bad weather is forecast then the session will be rained off and a mutually agreed re scheduled appointment will be made.

How will you use my Images?

Marketing is an Important part of my business, and I would love to be able to show your beautiful family portraits to others, however I will never post anything on social media/marketing platforms without your permission.

When will I receive my Images?

I endeavour to complete editing and have your images uploaded to the viewing gallery within 14 days. However from time to time I may need more time to ensure you are provided with the best images, if this is the case it will be communicated to yourselves.

Do you retouch the Images?

Your images will be edited, small adjustments will be made to surroundings/lighting and general tweaks will be made. If there is something specific that you would like to be edited please bring this to my attention at the pre shoot consultation or on the day of the event.
